Somewhat surprised.

Harry BathwaterI was somewhat surprised to see my name on a placard at a Muslim demonstration in Pakistan today.

A friend of mine who speaks Arabic tells me that the wording underneath my name says:
"John, Paul, George, Ringo and Harry we love you"

It warms the cockles of my heart to know that I'm so beloved in the Muslim world.

I have stopped debating god people concerning Evolution.

It’s simply not fair of me to engage people of such diminished intelligence in an argument that they clearly have no chance of winning.

In the past I have often felt a little ashamed at how, using logic and common sense, I eviscerate believers of all things superstitious and leave their carved up little minds twitching in the dirt. As I walk away, dusting off my hands, I hear them crying pitifully for a god that doesn’t exist to come and save them from ideas that challenge their pathetic and feeble beliefs.

I’ve just changed my mind.

After reading this back to myself I realize that it’s simply too much fun and I intend to destroy their dangerous fictions where ever I find them.

Sorry.

Cheney shooting incident.

Hmmm…. Why did they wait until the next day to announce the incident to the press?

I have been presuming it was because they wanted to make sure the guy was going to live, but the more I hear about the possibility that Chaney was drunk the more sense it makes.

Dick Cheney shoots someone.

In a thinly veiled threat to Scooter Libby, Dick Cheney shot a man this weekend.

Apparently the Vice President, an avid hunter and outdoorsman, wanted to clean the man himself and was already calling his taxidermist when an aide informed Mr Cheney that the victim, Mr Harry Whittington a lawyer and campaign contributor was still alive.

According to sources the Vice President angrily shouted “Do you have any idea how much a lawyer would be worth?”

One source told us that Mr Cheney had already telephoned his wife and told her to move the moose head currently hanging over the billiard table.

The White House delayed reporting the incident to the press for more than 24 hours to make sure that Mr Whittington survived the shooting and to give Mr Cheney time to get the proper license just in case.

Islam shoots itself in the foot once again.

Islam is proving to be the worst of all the vile ways of worshiping god.
I believe that the following is by the talk show host Neal Boortz who I know nothing about at all but I agree with this.

* Muslim officials block the exit where school girls are trying to escape a burning building because their faces were exposed. No Muslim outrage.

* Muslims cut off the heads of three teenaged girls on their way to school in Indonesia. A Christian school. No Muslim outrage.

* Muslims murder teachers trying to teach Muslim children in Iraq. No Muslim outrage

* Muslims murder over 80 tourists with car bombs outside cafes and hotels in Egypt. No Muslim outrage.

* A Muslim attacks a missionary children's school in India. Kills six. No Muslim outrage.

* Muslims slaughter hundreds of children and teachers in Beslan, Russia. Muslims shoot children in the back. No Muslim outrage.

* Let's go way back. Muslims kidnap and kill athletes at the Munich Summer Olympics. No Muslim outrage.

* Muslims fire rocket-propelled grenades into schools full of children in Israel. No Muslim outrage.

* Muslims murder more than 50 commuters in attacks on London subways and busses. Over 700 are injured. No Muslim outrage.

* Muslims massacre dozens of innocents at a Passover Seder. No Muslim outrage.

* Muslims murder innocent vacationers in Bali. No Muslim outrage.

* Muslim newspapers publish anti-Semitic cartoons. No Muslim outrage

* Muslims are involved, on one side or the other, in almost every one of the 125+ shooting wars around the world. No Muslim outrage.

* Muslims beat the charred bodies of Western civilians with their shoes, and then hang them from a bridge. No Muslim outrage.

* Newspapers in Denmark and Norway publish cartoons depicting Mohammed. Muslims are outraged.

Dead children. Dead tourists. Dead teachers. Dead doctors and nurses. Death, destruction and mayhem around the world at the hands of Muslims .. no Muslim outrage ... but publish a cartoon depicting Mohammed with a bomb in his turban and all hell breaks loose.

Would Professor Richard Dawkins please move to America.

There is no doubt that Islam is a backwards religion that never moved out of the middle ages. It breeds radical thinking that all too often erupts into violence and this is becoming a poison that is infecting the world.

The problem is.

Instead of trying to help the Muslim world move forward into the 21 Century, America is moving backwards to join them in their outdated thinking.
Americans currently have leaders who are using this religious fervor to whip up the emotions of their countrymen and negate decades of progress toward rational thinking.

Would Professor Richard Dawkins please move to America.
